Woven in mulberry silk and silver zari of 98.5% purity and electroplated with 24 carat gold, this saree is a sheer saree made from a textile commonly known as organza.
This fabric is created using undegummed silk yarn in warp and twisted fletcher in weft. This textile very popular for its sheerness and weightlessness. The butis on the textile are in pure zari and are woven in the “kadhua” technique.
This border is woven with small butis all over to evoke a gentile and delicate feel and embellished with a intricately woven border of pure zari interspersed with coloured Meena to create a contrast and relief. The design has been woven using the fabled “kadhua” weave.
The design is a modern interpretation of an antique textile. This design will be produced in limited quantity to ensure exclusiveness and there will be no repeat of this piece.
Only natural fibers and Eco-friendly dyes have been used in the production of the saree.
