Woven in mulberry silk and silver zari of 98.5% purity and electroplated with 24 carat gold, this saree is a an exemplary metallic textile commonly known as ”Tissue”.
The tissue is a delicate metallic textile in which a special form of zari called the ‘Reshmi Zari' is used as weft to achieve the shimmering quality. Tissue was always a favoured textile among royalty and nobles.
The border is designed in a geometric pattern that is reminiscent of the vintage borders woven in the Banaras tradition. The design has been woven using the fabled “kadhua” weave.
The design is a modern interpretation of an antique textile. This design will be produced in limited quantity to ensure exclusiveness and there will be no repeat of this piece.
Only natural fibers and Eco-friendly dyes have been used in the production of the saree.

This is a single edition piece, ensuring exclusivity and uniqueness. Any anomalies in the product are a part of the hand weaving process. We have taken great care to ensure the colours are true to the product but different screens may display them differently.
